Episode Zero Introduction to Systems Radio

Systems Radio is aligned with SE-Radio.net which is the Software Engineering Technical Podcast. However, SystemsRadio.net focuses on Systems Thinking, Systems Science, Systems Engineering and other cognate subjects like Domain Engineering, Ontological Engineering, Model Based Engineering. Episode Zero introduces the concept of the SystemsRadio.net podcast and discusses a little about each of the subject areas to be covered. SystemsRadio.net is meant to be the next higher level of abstraction from the Software Engineering Radio podcast as it appears in industry within companies where the Systems Engineers deal with the entire life-cycle and take responsibility for the whole delivered system working as promised and work with Hardware and Software Engineers to achieve a working system. Systems Engineering normally deals with very large and very complex systems which cannot be handled by Hardware Engineering or Software Engineering alone. However, Systems Engineering is only one approach to the Systems Schema and there are other approaches such as Systems Science in Engineering and a more popular version of this approach called Systems Thinking. This podcast describes the range of subjects that will be dealt with in various series of interviews and tutorials by the core team which is creating this podcast.
